The all-in-one brewing system
The GROSCHE MADRID 4-in-1 brewing system is a cold brew coffee maker, a French press coffee maker, an iced tea maker and a loose-leaf tea maker. The brewing system includes everything you need: a stainless steel plunger, a stainless steel infuser and an easy-to-swap-out lid. It features a fine chrome housing and a premium quality, heat-resistant borosilicate glass beaker. The large 1500 ml capacity of the beaker means you can make coffee and tea for the whole family.
Stainless steel press and infuser
The MADRID 4-in-1 cold brew coffee maker comes with a stainless steel French press plunger and a laser-cut stainless steel infuser. A secondary stainless steel filter is directly integrated into the lid of the MADRID. You can also turn the lid to close while your coffee or tea are steeping to keep your beverage hot longer.
Cold brew coffee maker
Make homemade cold brew coffee the easy way: Simply add your favourite coarse ground coffee to the stainless steel infuser of the MADRID 4-in-1 and add cold filtered water. We recommend a four-to-one ratio of water to coffee (4 cups of water to 1 cup of coffee). Then, put on the lid of the MADRID and place your cold brew coffee in the fridge. Make sure to shut the lid to avoid absorbing any aromas from your fridge. Let it sit for at least 12, up to 24 hours to let the coffee aromas unfold fully. The main cold brew coffee benefits are the reduced acidity and the smoother flavour of the coffee. Cold brew coffee has up to 67% less acidity than hot brewed coffee. To serve, take out the stainless steel infuser and pour your cold brew coffee over ice.
French press coffee maker
Use the MADRID 4-in-1 to make French press coffee at home. Simply insert your favourite coarse ground coffee into the bottom of the French press and pour over hot water. The water should be just off-boil to avoid burning the coffee grounds. Simply wait one minute after your water has come to a boil and then pour. Place the French press plunger into the beaker and let it sit for 2-3 minutes. Then press down on the plunger and let it sit another minute for the coffee to settle.
Iced tea maker
Nothing beats homemade iced tea on a hot summer day. To make iced tea with the MADRID 4-in-1, fill the stainless steel infuser with your favourite loose-leaf tea such as a herbal tea or green tea. We recommend using a bigger amount of tea than you would usually use to make an iced tea concentrate. Pour hot water into the beaker and add any sweeteners that you would like. Let your tea steep for the recommended time and take out the infuser. Now, pour your tea over ice cubes to turn it into a delicious homemade iced tea.
Loose-leaf tea maker
The MADRID 4-in-1 is an excellent loose-leaf tea maker. Simply add your favourite loose-leaf tea to the stainless steel infuser and pour over boiling water. Follow the steeping instructions for your tea and take the infuser out when your tea has reached the desired strength. Pour your tea into a double-walled glass cup like the CYPRUS to keep it hot longer.
